Mr. Scharlepp joined the firm as an associate and became a shareholder in 2017.

Practice Areas & Industry Experience:

Mr. Scharlepp practices in the areas of Police Liability Defense, Employment Discrimination Defense, and Constitutional law and represents entities in all other areas of civil litigation. Mr. Scharlepp also handles Construction law matters including Construction Defect and Lien law.

Awards & Associations:

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Scharlepp is a member of the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court, the Florida Bar’s Education Law Committee, the Tallahassee Bar Association and the Young Lawyer’s Association.

Education:

Graduating from South Dakota State University with a double major in History and Political Science, Mr. Scharlepp went on to earn his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2010 and receiving the Order of the Coif.

Community Service:

Mr. Scharlepp serves on the Boards of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Big Bend and the Southern Scholarship Foundation, respectively.  He currently serves as President of the Gulf Winds Track Club. He has also been a mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Admitted:

All Florida state courts, the United States District Court--Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.

Zack is an avid runner, having competed three, full distance marathons and one 50-mile race. Zack also enjoys watching Florida State University football and on Saturday afternoons in the Fall, can be found at Doak Campbell Stadium cheering on his beloved Seminoles.
