In 2006, Mrs. Adkins received the Florida Bar President's award for pro bono legal service for the Second Judicial Circuit. In addition to her law practice, Mrs. Adkins has served as representative on the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers' Division of the Florida Bar, as a member of the Florida Supreme Court Sesquicentennial Commission, on the Second Judicial Circuit's Grievance Committee, and as a member of the Board for the Tallahassee Bar Association's Legal Aid Foundation. Mrs. Adkins is a member of the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court, Tallahassee Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Florida Association of Police Attorneys. | Education: | Ms. Adkins graduated magna cum laude from Agnes Scott College where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board scholastic honorary societies. She received her J.D. degree from Florida State University and became a member of the Florida Bar in 1992. |
| Community Service: | Ms. Adkins regularly serves indigent clients in the greater Tallahassee area through the Tallahassee Bar Association’s Legal Aid Foundation. In addition, she has served on the Board of ES of North Florida for the past four years. |
